Its time for the timber for the 'Foal' writing desk top to be laid out and agonised over for a week. 12 boards have been narrowed down to 8 but what order should they be jointed together?

The walnut legs and frames look chocolatey and rich. No detail is left out including the underside of the legs, which are chamfered and oiled.
Profile on curved doors veneered and ready to hang on new drinks cabinet in walnut and steel. The vaneer for the entire door front is taped together and the curve edges cut down the centre , the veneer is then offered up to the two doors, along the flat areas and over the profiled hinge edges.
